It's nice hotel with good location in a good part of town. The staff is outstandingly accommodating and the food is awesome. The services are amazing, including a heated pool. Thank you for a really great stay.

The hotel was dirty, the rooms smelled like ash tray, the staff was not helpful at all, the manager was rude. The overall experience of the hotel was not a pleasant one

A Stay to Forget
For a peaceful experience, look elsewhere. I encountered numerous disturbances and poor cleanliness.

Reservation was for a non-smoking room, however, we were originally given a smoking room and told that "non-smoking" is a request, but not a guarantee. That was unacceptable and we had to talk to the manager in order to fix the problem! Hotel is run down, loud at night, moldy throughout, and the smell of cigarette smoke carried through the hotel.

Very nice atrium inside and lounging area by the pool.
For the money, there's not much room left to complain.

it apears the clientel at the hotel has went down to mostly hookers and dope dealers, people running around yelling and bs all hours of the night.

Dirty, nasty and just down right gross, with horrible service to kick it off. Room had black mold through out, beds that had to be at least 10 years old, electrical conduit and low voltage cables in the room. And a bar that plays volume at about 10 until 2am. But hey what was not to love, been sick for three days from my stay there and I left after one night.

It was a decent pick for a city trip in Lubbock with good value for money. The pool area had cozy sitting spots and was perfect. Just make sure to book ahead during busy weekends.

Nice pool and liked the cafe inside the hotel
Very sketchy clientele. We were on an outside corner room. Bad Feng- shei to start with. Only one, slim, tall window with broken curtain hooks. Two of the lamps in the room were not working. I felt weirdly exposed, the loud noises of the people walking by outside made me a bit nervous too.

The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to locations within the city. While we didn't have children with us, I found the hotel very family friendly, seeing all the children and parents enjoying the pool. The staff at the on-site restaurant were also friendly and accomodating regarding food requests.
The carpeting in the room was in dire need of a carpet-cleaning service; actually the original charm of the hotel could be easily restored with a few updates and carpet replacement

perfect base for exploring parks and landmarks in lubbock
I really enjoyed my weekend here as it was a short walk to the Buddy Holly Statue and West Texas Walk of Fame. I loved how easy it was to reach AB Davis Park for some nature views. Definitely a great pick for anyone who appreciates urban strolling and has a budget in mind.

The friendliness was outstanding as was the staff's attempt to help in any way. My brother was in the hospital and they took me to and from the hospital without thinking about it. I really appreciated the people. It seemed like guests were pretty satisfied with it too.
The rooms were pretty run down. But for the money it's pretty much what I expected.
